It all started with an old farm truck full of flowers.
The Ash family had been farming in Vineland NJ for seven generations. In 1989, Ron Ash began to bring their plants and flowers to the historic Rice’s Market. Today we have over an acre of herbs, vegetables, annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, houseplants, pottery and all your seasonal favorites to make your home and garden special.
Hellebore Pre-Orders Now Open!
We've begun pre-orders for 2026 Hellebores! The quantity grown of our pre-order items is limited, many varieties sell out quickly. Premium varieties are in particularly short supply, pre-order is the best way to be first in line for your favorite varieties. Hellebore pre-orders close on March 15th for fulfillment by Mid-April.

We’ve organized our natives in a single section to make it easy for you to find the native plants you need for your garden!
PHS Gold Medal Plants
Each year, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society convenes nursery owners, horticulturists, expert gardeners, and professional growers to conduct a review of both newly available and classic species and cultivars, selecting the best performing and most beautiful for inclusion in the Gold Medal Program. We study the results of this program annually so that we ensure we are carrying the best cultivars for your garden.
